La République Démocratique du Congo est bien représentée à l'un d'événements de récompense les plus crédibles d'Afrique. Plusieurs congolais sont nominés aux Zikomo Awards Zambia 2023.
Ferré Gola est nominé dans la catégorie "Artist of the year", Formule 7 de Fally Ipupa dans la catégorie "Album of the year", Innoss'b dans "Afrochart of the year", la chanson "Tia" de RJ Kanierra est nominée dans la catégorie "Popular song of the year".
